I look forward to the Thanksgiving season all year long, not only for the good food on the table and the family around it but for the consistent reminder November provides. It’s a great time to express gratitude for our positive experiences of the past year and to set goals for the future.
This season we are grateful for our new lab puppy, Honey. We’ve been enjoying watching all of the animals adjusting to each other and figuring out their place in the pecking order, as well as on the couch! You may remember that our kittens were an Easter surprise, rescued from our basement windows. Fall is a great time to be outdoors with a curious puppy, so we’re taking lots of walks and trying to keep her from chewing up the house.
The simple act of acknowledging and appreciating the good things has the power to reshape our perspectives and enhance our well-being. This article from Raymond James shares some positive news about the resiliency of the U.S. economy in these uncertain and volatile times, exploring what evidence suggests about a recession in 2024.

May you and your family enjoy a happy Thanksgiving and time together to appreciate the present and savor every next step on the path ahead.
Take care,
