I hope you’ve all been able to relax and enjoy summer fun with family and friends. It’s been so great to make up for lost time, seeing everyone I haven’t seen as often I wanted to during the pandemic. I’m definitely more mindful of being grateful for all the enjoyable times I’ve had this summer – whether a barbecue, baseball game or fireworks, I made every moment count.

With National Dog Day being Thursday, August 26, the team couldn’t resist showing off their loyal friends. Over half of our team owns a dog or two, with the preference towards medium to large breeds. We all really enjoy sharing stories about their antics, even if they’re naughty. After all, who else in our lives is willing to listen to daily gripes about market ups and downs without a complaint?

This month, I’m sharing the article, Are Your Important Documents Secure and Accessible? The article discusses the importance of gathering all your vital documents and recommends various tools and resources to help you organize them. In a moment of crisis, whether a natural disaster or something unexcepted happens to you, the last thing you or your loved ones want to be doing is tracking down important documents. If the idea of getting started is daunting, I get it. I particularly like this article as it encourages you to just get started and make progress in small increments. Eventually, you’ll have all your important documents and wishes in one place and be very relieved that you took the time to give your loved ones this important peace of mind.

One resource included in the article, and an important part of our Freedom7 financial planning steps, is Everplans. Everplans is a great digital tool to simply organize, store, and securely share your vital documents and final wishes with your loved ones. Once you locate all your essential documents, Everplans has the capability to store many items ranging from medical, legal and financial documents to family recipes and final wishes. Enjoy the last days of summer with your loved ones and stay well!

Take care,
