I hope your 2023 is off to a happy, healthy start and you enjoyed the holiday season with family and friends as much as I did. Before we’re well into the year, I wanted to share a photograph from our PFG holiday luncheon. Several loved ones were able to join us, and we had a great time together as a team.
You may also recall from the December edition of The Heron, we asked for you to vote on your favorite gingerbread house. The gingerbread houses were decorated by the team and our slightly competitive natures turned an afternoon of fun into a contest. We’re excited to share the winners below. I can promise that this was a legitimate result despite the winner – honestly.

You may also be hearing news about the significant changes being brought about by the SECURE 2.0 Act. Now law, the Act enhances previous legislation and creates new provisions to help people of all ages save for retirement. From increasing the age at which retirees must take required minimum distributions (RMDs) to helping younger people save for retirement while paying off student debt, there are positive benefits for every age group.
