From the Desk of Todd Wike

As parents, we often find ourselves in awe of our children’s accomplishments. We take pride in their successes, celebrating their milestones with joy and gratitude. Recently we’ve celebrated some personal successes in our family.

Charlie graduated from the fifth grade and received an award for achieving straight A’s in all his classes for the entire year. He was also honored to be selected to deliver a speech to his class on Promotion Day. As he stood up there speaking, I couldn’t help but reflect on the first day we walked through the school doors and all the things that brought us to that moment—the homework, field trips, and many games. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, but we are excited for him as he embarks on the new adventures that await him.

In addition to these exciting academic successes, the boys had much to celebrate recently on the ball field. Charlie hit a home run in his game last weekend, and Graham’s team won the championship last weekend, where he was awarded the game ball! It was very exciting for all of us!

As we journey into the laid-back months of summer, I hope you can relax and reflect on what has brought you to this point and celebrate all the milestones in your life, both big and small.
