We are very excited to announce that we will be moving our office next year! We recently acquired the old Cricket Bookstore building for those of you familiar with the area in Ashton, MD. It’s located at 17800 New Hampshire Ave and is very close to the intersection of Route 108 (Ashton Road) and New Hampshire Ave (Route 650). The building has been a bit of a landmark in the area having been around since the early 1900s – it was even a post office at one point.
We love the location and the nostalgia of the building, so we’ll be giving it the tender loving care it deserves as we renovate it and prepare to make it our home for many years to come.
Our focus is, and always will be, on maintaining the highest level of care, providing the most informed advice, and building lasting relationships with our clients. It’s been an amazing journey with many more great moments to come in the years ahead. I believe in the old saying, “You’re either getting better or you’re getting worse … you never stay the same.” For PFG, “getting better” means continuing to build on our past successes, learning from our challenges and finding new and innovative ways to help our client’s find their freedom. In many ways, our move to The Cricket Bookstore is symbolic of our journey as, much like PFG, it too has a solid foundation and rich history grounded in our community.
I’ll share periodic updates on the renovation in The Heron and on social media over the months ahead. If all goes according to plan, we’ll be welcoming you into our new home in September of 2023. On behalf of everyone at PFG, thank you for your partnership as without you this would not be possible!
